ABOUT THE COMPOSER

 

Mr. Francis J. Caravella is the Orchestra Director at Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA, where he also teaches AP Music Theory and IB Music. In addition he serves as the middle school orchestra director and is responsible for developing the string orchestra curriculum used in grades 5-12. He holds a Master of Music Theory from West Chester (PA) University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Millersville (PA) University. He is a member of the American Society of Publishers, Authors and Composers (ASCAP). He lives in Lancaster where he is active as a conductor, composer and arranger.
